Happy St. Patrick’s Day

My paternal great grandfather came to the United States around the turn of the century (1890-1910, like everyone else’s ancestors, hahaha) from Ireland. Growing up, I never felt super Irish (or any other branch of my family tree). I still don’t really. I am like most people in the USA, I am American than anything else. Take it a step further, I am a Californian. A very proud Californian, too! (We should have California day.) I think it is super fun to celebrate the holiday and this is how we did it this year!

Kurt made a special bucky balls hat and 4 leaf clover.

Peter and I went to Trader Joe’s and got everything to make a fancy Irish dinner. It turned out
pretty great.
