After a week of work, Becky and I attended the company day at Disneyland this past Saturday (15 July). The only event was breakfast, but it was nice to mingle a bit with my new coworkers. As an added bonus, They gave me two tickets for admission, but Becky and I already hold Annual Passports, so we brought Sharon and John with us. They used the tickets, and we used our Annual Passports.
We had a great time, we walked around, went on Space Mountain, the new Pirates of the Caribbean, we even saw ASIMO. It was hot, so we went over to Disney’s California Adventure and went on Grizzly River Run. Becky and I got completely soaked, John and Sharon just got splashed a bit.
At that point, we went home and took a nap. We then went to church, drove through In-N-Out for dinner, and we were back to the park for the fireworks show. We got awesome spots for viewing, and at fifteen minutes until the show was scheduled to begin this announcement came over the loudspeaker:
Due to winds at higher elevations, tonight showing of Remember… Dreams Come True may be cancelled. Debido a los vientos en elevaciones más altas, esta noche el demostrar de Remember… Los sueños vienen verdad pueden ser cancelados. より高ã„高度ã®é¢¨ã®ãŸã‚ã€Remember ã®ä»Šå¤œæ示㯅 夢ã¯æœ¬å½“å–ã‚
And at the exact time when the fireworks show was scheduled to begin, all of the cast members suddenly disappeared and they made the final cancellation announcements. Fearing a stampede, we made our way to Tomorrowland and caught a viewing of Sandbox playing covers at the Club Buzz stage.
After a Small World ride and a trip through the Grand Canyon and Primeval World, we staggered back home sun burnt and tired.
Oh yeah, John and Sharon used the ticket credit to purchase Annual Passports as well! Now we can go back and actually see the fireworks show. Yippee!
